LISTEN TO STEVE STEINMAN'S INTERVIEW
Bat the Symphony In April 2009 we will be touring a brand new show Bat Symphony playing around 25 concert halls and some of the larger theatres in the UK. It’s very exciting for me and the band to be playing with a 40 piece orchestra something I have always wanted to do. We will perform most of Bat Out Of Hell plus a few of the old greats like Dead Ringer for Love and Anything For Love. Many of the dates are in and we will get them on sale at the end of the year so keep an eye on the web site for more info. Here’s the first poster of the show but this will not be the final one. Trilogy Trilogy will also be playing in May 2009 at the venues not big enough for the Symphony so don’t worry we will be in a town near you one way or another.
Vampires Rock will be heading into Europe next year with some incredible countries to visit. I will post more when I have the tour confirmed. The Vampires Rock DVD is now on sale filmed in 2007 so go check out the merchandise page and get your order in fast. We will also sell them at the Trilogy shows.
BC Rich will be the main sponsor for Vampires Rock and the Bat Symphony next year. Its great to have on board such a great company whose guitars rock the world over. We will be taking delivery in September of the new range and when we do I will get the pictures up on the sites. Ok that’s all for now Keep Rockin Steve
Done it again Hi all hope you have been enjoying the show this year. If you haven’t been yet you’re in for a treat, the new band are superb. We have done it again! How can you make something better that was perfect I keep getting asked? The key is to work with the best and get the best and I do from stage crew to poster design and musicians. It’s the second year with the new format of no wigs and not performing a Meat Loaf tribute as we did very successfully with the Meat Loaf Story for many years. Iam so glad we made the move as this has opened so many other doors for me and my shows now. We have got some incredible plans for 2009 so keep an eye out for the news to hit. We have just done the sixth show and they couldn’t have gone better with 4,500 fans turning out already. The Royal and Derngate with its 1200 seats looks set to be sold out again this year as we did last year, cant wait.
Forum We have a new Steve Steinman forum up and running for you to chat and leave your thoughts there. It’s just gone up and we have lots going on already so go take a look. http://stevesteinman.forumcity.com/
Tour Underway Well the 2008 tour is underway here’s a picture from the dressing room of the band. We have from left to right Ben “G”, JT Birdie, JB and Nikky the Kid and in back Andy W and the girls upfront Emily and Reenie I was taking the picture. As always the audience have been great so far, really getting into the show from the start. We have put a couple of new tunes in and they work well from the Bat 3 album. Merchandise All merchandise is now on sale for Trilogy and also Vamps so just click on the link. A new CD will be done for the Trilogy this year and I will post when it’s ready.

The Tour so far Well I can’t believe we are not to far off ending the Trilogy tour for 2007. It’s gone so fast and it has exceeded my expectations selling out and rocking more than I would have said. We are already putting 2008 dates in for the tour and we should ad some new songs from Bat 3 next year so don’t worry if you didn’t get to here your favourite song this time. We have one or two venues we left out this year to give them a break as you can play them to many times like Scarbourgh Futurist and the Broadway at Peterborough, City Hall Salisbury to name a few so don’t worry we will be back in 2008 with the Trilogy. Fan pics I have been adding fan and crowd shots from the stage looking out so check out the images and see if you can see you’re self. You Tube I will put some more you tube footage up soon I have Toms drum solo and Petes piano solo to go up and I will get Em’s solo of here singing all coming back to me now. I will also get some more of the show on there maybe Break it and Monster. Review We had the first review of the show at the Ipswich Regent in May and what a great review it was! The Genius of Steve Steinman hahahahaha I couldn’t have wrote it better myself, great just great and so glad they got what we are doing. Not just a look a like tribute band but a show. Meat Loaf Not sure if I will get to see Meat Loaf this year as I am working on most of his arena dates but I did see it last year in London so Iam not to bothered. I am hoping to catch up with Paul Crook on one of his days off for a coffee so that’s good enough for me. Two for One deal We have some 2 for 1 ticket deals for the people who have sighed up for the news letter and competition so get your e mailed entered and get some great deals. Keep Rockin gang and see you soon Steve
Trilogy tour Well its been a great start to the new tour selling out at nearly all the venues. Jersey was great had a great time and the people rocked they loved it. Looking forward in going back sometime soon. Its been a huge step for me to do the show as Steve Steinman and not as a tribute to Meat Loaf and its proved to be the best thing I have done. I always new the people were there for the music and not a bloke trying to look like Meat Loaf! But the days of the long hair and performing as Meat have been great.
Trilogy Merchandise The new Merchandise pics will be up very soon, we have some great T shirts and Hoodies etc with the new Bat Logo. We will be offering a credit card service from September.
2008 Dates are already flooding into the office for the trilogy 2008 tour so that’s great news. I am going to do the same as this year and book all the tour between Feb and June and then Vampires from September to December.
Germany We have some dates in Germany next year so I will post more info when I get it. Looking forward to that.
USA We have made great moves into getting the show over to the States and with the new style show its getting lots of interest so I will keep you posted.
Vampires Rock Looking forward to Vampires Rock this year we have some great dates and venues on this tour. I think this will be a bumper year for Vamps as tickets are selling great already. Don’t delay get the tickets as soon as you can.
Trilogy sells out on the opening night of the tour. The Royal and Derngate in Northampton was the first date in the trilogy tour and it was better than we could have hoped for. The place was packed full and the band and crew did a superb job on the night. Daz on the lighting made the show something special with an incredible lighting plot he has come up with for the show. Shereen also did a great job sorting the girl’s moves out to make the show that bit more special. The band did it and more they rocked the place. Heres a shot I took from the stage of the audience.
TRILOGY GOES GLOBAL Fan has uploaded a video of the new Trilogy show on the international website YouTube
TOMMY T GETS KITTED OUT New Sponsor for the Meat Loaf Trilogy. Premier drums have come up trumps and given Tommy T and superb kit for the Trilogy and Vampires Rock tour.
15th Jan 2007 Here are some shots of the production rehearsals in the Majesic theatre. All has gone great the stage set looks better than I thought it would, its always hard to imagine what it will turn out like just from a drawing. Shereen has done a great job with the new dance moves for the girls, it brings that wow factor to the show. The band has done a great job with the new tracks. Monster Is Loose is about the hardest track we do but the band have captured the feel of the song superbly and it kicks ass. The first show is approaching fast at the Royal and Derngate Northampton Sat 20th Jan. tickets have exceeded my expectations and we are looking at a sell out on our first show of the year at this incredible 1200 seater theatre. Have a great Christmas and New Year here is the last news of 2006. Steve Trilogy rehearsals Here are some shots of me and the guys at my house working on the new tracks for the show. The Monsters Loose is one hard song! but I think we have cracked it. We are also doing Break It and Seize the Night from Bat 3. We are going into the theatre at Retford in the new year to try out the stage set and put the finishing touches to the songs and the production. Cant Wait.
Royal Variety Performance Had a great time at the royal Variety Performance this year it was made that little bit more special as Meat Loaf was on the bill. Couple of shots of me and the girls from Stuart Littlewoods office at the after show party. We met some great people on the night and even got to rub shoulders with Rod Stewart. I will look forward to next year.
